- How do I book the trek?
Book directly through the Plan The Unplanned website. Choose your dates, select “With Travel” (Bangalore pickup & drop) or “Without Travel”, and complete the booking online. - What is the trek distance and duration?
The total distance is around 22 km (round trip), and it usually takes 7–8 hours depending on fitness and group pace. - Do I need a permit?
Yes, and PTU handles all permit formalities with the Forest Department for you. - Is a guide included?
Yes, you’ll be accompanied by a certified PTU trek leader and a mandatory local forest guide. - What’s the difficulty level?
Moderate. Suitable for beginners with basic fitness, but be ready for a long trekking day. - Do I have to carry my luggage?
No. Leave your main bag at the homestay. Carry only a daypack with essentials for the trek. - What type of stay is provided?
Stay will be in a simple local homestay near the base village. Expect basic but clean facilities. - Are meals included?
Yes. You’ll get 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner — all prepared fresh at the homestay. - Is Wi-Fi available?
No. The mobile network is limited. Jio works best; others are patchy or unavailable. - What transport options are available?

No. Camping is not permitted inside Kudremukh National Park. Stay is in approved homestays only. - How safe is the trek?
