About The Trip

There is a reason why Himachal is often referred to as Dev Bhumi. It truly feels that if gods existed in our world, they would reside in a land like this. Filled with valleys that offer mesmerising vistas, rivers and lakes with water so clear you can see right to the bottom, and locations that appeal to your spiritual side, this land has so much to offer.

If you are living in Delhi, chances are that every now and then, your breath seems harder to catch and the stress just starts to get to you. In times like those, escape to Himachal.

And if you need help planning that escape, come to Plan The Unplanned, where we will do all the planning for you.

Although we have several options ready for you, the Grahan village trek might be one that steals your heart!

In recent times, Kasol has gained a lot of popularity, not just because it is really close to Delhi, but also because of the sheer beauty. But we will take you to some place far prettier and lesser known. Grahan is the kind of village you see in paintings – quaint, beautiful, with a slower pace of life.

Isn’t all this just what you need, on your escape?

Trek Highlights

It really doesn’t matter if you are trekking for the first time or have been doing it for years. At Plan The Unplanned, we welcome everyone, solo females, college groups or office colleagues – you are most welcome to join our tribe!

  • The trip starts from Delhi and takes you overnight to Kasol in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh
  • Once at the hotel in Kasol, you get to enjoy lunch and then take a hike to Chalal
  • Soak in the panoramic views of Parvati Valley and return to Kasol for some local sightseeing and café hopping
  • Your trek to Grahan starts from Kasol main market – a leisurely easy paced walk takes you to a stunning village
  • Relax a while at a local guesthouse and then set out to walk through the hamlet to the local waterfall

As you check-out of the guesthouse and head back to Kasol and then eventually Delhi, we are pretty sure that you will be making up your mind to locate more such offbeat treks in Himachal. But we got you – we have plenty of trekking and camping options, all planned and laid out for you. After all, you are part of our tribe now!

How is the Trip /Trek Organised?
For the proper organization of Backpacking Trips and Himalayan treks, Plan the Unplanned team is associated with a local experienced team that’s registered with ATOAI (Adventure Tour Operators Association of India)

Moreover, we have been working with them for 10 years. Their highly skilled staff with 20+ years of experience, professional local guides and BMC certified trek leaders are the reasons for our continuing partnership with them. The team shall manage all operations, medical and mechanical backup starting from the base location.

Only when we have over 8 bookings from Bangalore, do we send our leaders from Bangalore.

Note: To properly utilize resources, a batch from PTU is clubbed with trekkers who originally book with the local team. This is how all trekking organizations manage their treks. An exclusive PTU batch is only formed when we have a majority of bookings ( over 8 and above ) from PTU

When will the WhatsApp group be created?

The participants will receive an invite to the WhatsApp group on or before Wednesday of the trek week.
