Once at the destination you will be able to refresh yourself before your maiden surfing lesson. Take a light breakfast at the on-site canteen and be at the beach by 8:00am. There is a comfortable atmosphere of cool morning sun and experienced trainers help you to learn the basics of surfing. Two hours in the water, practicing, will feel like a couple of hours of your time spent rightfully, including a fall or two, and a good splash, as well as an incredible sensation of getting your first wave. Drink water and not too much, just enough to keep the session productive.

At 11:00am, come back to the campus to chill out. There will be a healthy brunch in the middle of the day with rice, dal, vegetables of the season, and condiments. Afternoons are yours to relax in, by the backwaters perhaps in a hammock or just by relaxing.

Between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:30pm, have a sunset kayaking adventure around the serene backwaters. Paddle amidst spectacular surroundings and then back to camp to spend an evening with games, dialogue and relaxation. There is a self-sponsored dinner at the in house cafe. The best way to end a day of thrill is to get a good night's sleep.

The last day will start with a quiet pre-dawn wake up call at 6:30am in the morning, and an expedited gear-up to go paddle on Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP). As the first light shone upon the still waters you will be gently floating along the backwaters of Mulki, trying to balance yourself and synchronizing your breathing with the flow of the small waves. It is not a simple workout but a meditative goodbye to your coastal journey which is a chance to enjoy the stillness and think back on the already traveled adventure.

You will get back after surfing the final portion of your waves and have a relaxed check out around 11:30am at the retreat. Then, it was time to reward its culinary taste buds with a highly deserved sampling of a local treasure, a humble, yet very popular South Indian restaurant. In this case, you will be served unlimited home-style food on common banana leaves. Look forward to hot rice, sour rasam, rich sambar, mixed curries of vegetables according to season, crisp papad and a pinch of coastal cuisine in every mouthful. It is much more than food, it is an embrace of the Karnataka culinary heritage.

With satisfied bellies and full hearts, the adventure continues to scenic beaches of Mangalore. Enjoy the afternoon sun stolling barefoot on the golden sand - taking in the vibrant energy of the coast.

As the sun goes down, we head on to an overnight journey back to Bengaluru expecting to arrive back by 6:00am on Monday.
