Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek

About The Trip

Walking on soft meadows, realising there is no end to this pleasure, settling with pink shades of nature, crossing ridges, rivers, intricate twists and tranquil hamlets, a trekker swings through crests and troughs in nature's symphony. Believe us when we say there is nothing similar to Ali Bedni Bugyal trek in the Himalayas that nurtures the soul at every step.

This alpine meadow lies along the Northern edge of Almora, Nainital, Gwaldam, and Kausani hill stations. The Mt. Trishul standing tall and firm against the clear blue skies makes a picture-perfect backdrop. As we go from Rishikesh to Lohajung to start our trip, the route takes multiple surprises and takes us from the west of Uttarakhand to its centre. We come across zig-zags on the road and pass through river Alaknanda and the Ganges that roar to draw attention. We will run parallel to the river Ganga's route, cross Devprayag – the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, and then run parallel to Alaknanda's route to reach Lohajung finally. (Our base camp is Lohajung for Ali Bedni Bugyal trek.) Midway, we will also cross Karnprayag and Rudraprayag. Devprayag, Karnprayag and Rudraprayag are three of the Panch-prayags.

Alpine meadows or bugyals are valuable to the Himalayan ecosystem. These meadows start at 3000 meters above sea level and continue till about 4500 meters, where the snowline begins, and vegetation becomes scarce. To the fields continuing till ether and dense woodland that provides shelter to the wildlife here, Ali Bedni Bugyal trek invites you on a 33 km trekking journey where we’ll sleep under the sublime sky, drink the purest water, exchange effusive thoughts, and have experiences lasting a lifetime. Plan the Unplanned team is all set to take your heart away and deliver it in the Ali Bedni Bugyal. Check out the six days itinerary for the Ali Bedni Bugyal trek and book your tickets at the earliest.
