There are two options for transportation:
PTU will arrange a vehicle. This will include the following –
Example – Shubham chose the ‘With Travel’ option. A seat would be reserved for him to travel to and from the base city, travel for activities, travel from and to homestay to trek base, or any other case.
PTU will not arrange any vehicle. If you choose this, you will have to arrange for your own vehicle for travelling for the entire duration of the itinerary. This means –PTU will not arrange any vehicle to or from the base city.
Example – Shubham chose the ‘Without Travel’ option. He will not be eligible to board a PTU arranged vehicle for any duration. Even if Shubham reaches the destination, say Gokarna, by bus or train, he will still be arranging auto/scooty for travelling within Gokarna.
Note: PTU will not be responsible for arranging vehicles in extreme scenarios, like private vehicle damage. We will only be accomodating people based on availability. No matter the distance, this would always be INR 1000 or more per person.

I randomly came across the PTU and booked the trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hampi. This was my first solo with a group and with PTU. It was an wonderful experience with the like minded fellow travelers on board. The Team Leaders Steffi and Shashi really made everyone comfortable with interactive games.
I loved the musical treat surprise with Gali’s Hampi Song.
It would be nice if PTU considers for the comfortable journey of group members as during my trip number of people were more than the seats in bus. The travel on last seat becomes really uncomfortable.
It was my first as well as great Trekking experience to Hampi. Trek leads Shashi and Steffi managed the entire trip so well and made the entire travel journey enjoyable and fun-filled. I would love to go more trips with this team.
