The trail to Didupe waterfalls is one you’ll remember.

Day 1
Day 2
Ujire, the closest town to our destination waterfalls, is about 300kms from Bangalore. The overnight bus journey starts off with a fun ice-breaker session to become acquainted with your fellow trekkers and trek leads.
A warm welcome at the homestay awaits you on the first morning of this fun-filled weekend which will be followed by some delicious vegetarian breakfast and freshening up. Once everyone is set to take on a new day of adventure, we leave for Kadamagundi. You’ll have a good few hours to connect with nature as you’ll be covering the distance on foot. The trial is rewarding enough with blue skies that seem to walk alongside you and the ecosphere around is one you’ll probably find in a calendar back at home. Perhaps, now, you can customize a calendar with an adventure of your own. Didupe falls is absolutely stunning with the magnificent height it falls from. Play around in the water until your heart is content. Again, the pond here is shallow enough to walk around in it so you don’t have to worry about swimming. Chai and coffee will then be served to give this marvellous experience a sweet end.
Soon enough, you’d have some inspiration to meet. Mr B.K Deva Rao, a paddy conservationist is an organic farmer who has been conserving over 154 varieties of paddy since about three and a half decades. He refrains from using any chemical to cultivate his crops, giving absolutely authentic and naturally grown local crops. Mr Rao is a bearer of a presidential award for practising conservation of paddy on such a large scale. Step into his farm, have a chat with the man to find out more about his old and treasured baby-paddy such as Tonnur, Narvara, Messe Bhatta, Kalame, and so many more.
Head out to view the magical sunset from the sunset peak. The sunset isn’t all that brings an overwhelming end to day one. A wholesome local vegetarian dinner which will be provided at the homestay will definitely soothe your soul.
