Rajasthan is the largest state in our nation, making it nearly impossible to visit every street that is filled with lore about courageous kings and fearless queens. However, to ensure that you get to sample all the flavors of Rajasthan, we have put together the best backpacking trip to Rajasthan from Delhi.
On this trip, we'll visit three former princely states that, in the Middle Ages, served as the cornerstone of Rajputana and are still the top three tourist destinations in Rajasthan today.
We are giving you the opportunity to travel to Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer all in one trip with this Rajasthan vacation package.
Our first visit would be the "City of Lakes," sometimes referred to as the "White City" because to the usage of ivory marble in its historic forts and palaces, as well as other white-colored structures around the state.

Details
At 8 PM, the group will gather at the pickup location, where the trip captain will give a brief introduction.
After that, we’ll travel to Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes,” our first stop on the Rajasthan Backpacking trip, which is renowned for its regal architecture and romantic settings.
Note: IFFCO Chowk Metro Station will serve as the pick-up location.

We will check out of our hotel after an early breakfast and drive to Jodhpur, which is known as the Blue City because nearly the entire city is covered in the colour.
We’ll stop at Kumbhalgarh Fort along the way, which is also known as The Great Wall of India because it is, after the Great Wall of China, the second-longest continuous wall in the world. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also one of the biggest fort complexes in the world.
We’ll also go to Haldighati’s Maharana Pratap Museum, which was established there to honor the Mewari Rana and his conflict with the Mughals. There are many historical artifacts on display at the museum.
We’ll check into our hotel when we get to Jodhpur. After dinner, spend the night in Jodhpur.

After an early breakfast, we’ll leave for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. One of the largest private residences in the world, Umaid Bhawan Palace is the final Royal Palace to be built. We would also stop at Bal Samand Lake on the way.
The Mehrangarh Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most magnificent forts perched atop a perpendicular cliff, will be our next stop.
Our heritage tour will conclude at Jaswant Thada, also referred to as The Taj Mahal of Mewar for its intricately carved marble buildings. It was constructed in 1899 by Maharaja Jaswant Singh’s son as a tribute to him.
We’ll return to our hotel in the evening, have dinner, and then spend the night in Jodhpur.
The trip to Bal Samand Lake is time-dependent.

We will check out of our hotel after an early breakfast and travel to Jaisalmer, also known as The Golden City, which is located in the Thar Desert.
We’ll check into our Swiss campsite as soon as we get to Jaisalmer. After that, we’ll travel to the Sam Sand Dunes for a desert safari, camel rides, and cultural performances by Rajasthani Folk groups, who showcase their skills in music and dance.
We’ll enjoy desert camping as dusk falls and spend the night gazing at the stars. After dinner, spend the night in Jaisalmer.

We’ll check out of our campsite after an early-morning breakfast and leave for a local sightseeing tour, where we’ll go to Jaisalmer City. On the way, we would stop at Kuldhara, a 200-year-old village that has been abandoned. One of Rajasthan’s most well-known haunted locations is called Ghost Village.
The Jaisalmer Fort, which is a living fort because half of the city’s population resides there, would be our next stop. It was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 and is one of the biggest forts in the world.
We would also go to Gadisagar Lake, one of the city’s top attractions, which serves as the ideal vantage point to see the Jaisalmer Fort’s spectacle.
We’ll take a bus to Delhi in the evening for an overnight trip.

As all good things come to an end, our backpacking journey has also come to an end. We will be heading back to Delhi. Let’s fill the final day with some more music, laughter, and conversations to make our bus journey back merry and memorable! - If you cancel before 30 days – 90% of amount will be refunded
- If you cancel between 20 -30 days – 75% % of amount will be refunded
- If you cancel between 15-19 days – 50% will be refunded
- If you cancel between 7-14 days – 25 % amount will be refunded

Moreover, we have been working with them for 10 years. Their highly skilled staff with 20+ years of experience, professional local guides and BMC certified trek leaders are the reasons for our continuing partnership with them. The team shall manage all operations, medical and mechanical backup starting from the base location.
Only when we have over 8 bookings from Bangalore, do we send our leaders from Bangalore.
Note: To properly utilize resources, a batch from PTU is clubbed with trekkers who originally book with the local team. This is how all trekking organizations manage their treks. An exclusive PTU batch is only formed when we have a majority of bookings ( over 8 and above ) from PTU
